| PyCon DC 2003 is not going to be an elitist conference. It needs your help to ensure that there is something for everybody? What can you do? ActiveState is probably the model here, packaging the Python core with Mark Hammond's win32all extensions and various others. Good news: Jim Fulton has agreed to run the Open Space "track" and manage the sprints this year.
Bad news: The post-conference two-day sprint clashes with Easter weekend.
Current thoughts are to hold a pre-conference sprint, in DC if practical but otherwise at least partially at Zope Corporation's Fredericksburg HQ, about an hour south of DC.
We are looking for one or more keynote speakers with something of interest and value to say to the Python community.
