Python Writers and Technical Editors

The purpose of this list is to serve as a contact point for those who need something written, and therefore the distinction between professional writers looking for big projects like books and those who want small freelance projects on the side.

If you write in languages other than english, please indicate this in your entry. We certainly need writers in other languages.

  • [http://programmation-python.org Tarek Ziadé] - author of "Programmation Python" (01/2006) in french, and "Python, petit guide à l'usage du développeur agile" (available 08/16/2007). Involved in a third book in french on a Python web framework, but can write on small projects besides. FRENCH but can do english.

She specializes in Mac OS and is interested in projects involving developmental editing, technical editing, and instructional design.

Aahz was the technical editor for Teach Yourself Python in 24 Hours, and a co-editor for Python How to Program and Game Programming: The L Line, plus minor contributions to the threading sections of Python in a Nutshell and Core Python Programming.
