Django Meeting NL

Django meeting is a Dutch meeting for Python/Django users, intended for both professionals and hobbyists alike. Our aim is to support interaction between all Dutch Django users and to be a platform for information exchange.

For the regular Dutch python meetings, see http://wiki.python.org/moin/PUN

Language

To improve accessibility for speakers of all foreign languages, meetings will be held in English. It is possible for an occasional presentation to be in Dutch.

Als je een presentatie in het Nederlands wilt geven, ben je net zo welkom! De meeste toehoorders zullen Nederlands verstaan.

Ideas for the Meeting

If you already know of anything interesting for your fellow djangonauts to talk about, or have cool ideas for a meetup. Put them down here.

  • Deploying ur Djangoz: zc.buildout, virtualenv, fabric, paster, etc. (Remco Wendt)
  • Solving issues in the right place: hell what should we otherwise use a framework for (Remco Wendt) interactive session, asking around for elegant solutions people made for specific problems
  • Export to Excel, the easy way (Lightning, Wim Feijen)
  • Our new company that creates kick-ass Django web apps (Lightning, Dennis Bunskoek)
  • Adding management dashboards & reports to your Django projects (Lightning or longer, Alex de Landgraaf)

Meetings

Our first meeting will be held on the evening (19:30 to around 22:30) of Thursday 18 February 2010, in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. If you are going to attend, please confirm by leaving your name here. Thank you very much!
