This is a static archive of the Python wiki, which was retired in February 2026 due to lack of usage and the resources necessary to serve it — predominately to bots, crawlers, and LLM companies.

The Python Tutor List is designed specifically to help those new to programming or to Python. It is often a more appropriate venue for beginners' questions than is comp.lang.python. It's a friendly place! More information can be found here.
