  3. The treasurer Sreekanth Ramaseshaiah presented the accounts - there were nil transactions. The accounts were accepted unanimously.
  4. The guest of honor Mr David Goodger of the PSF made a few remarks on his impressions and suggestions.
  5. Two resolutions were proposed and unanimously adopted. They were
    1. Resolved that the MOA be amended to include the following: "Preamble: The python programming language is free, open source software and it's development is volunteer driven. The Python Software Foundation (PSF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that holds the intellectual property rights behind the Python programming language. They manage the open source licensing for Python version 2.1 and later and own and protect the trademarks associated with Python. This is free software that can not be bought, sold or traded."
    2. Resolved that Messrs J Mathew & Co. be appointed as the auditors for the society for the year 2010-2011

  6. Elections: Kenneth Gonsalves was unanimously elected to a second (and last) term as President and the existing committee was unanimously elected for a second term.
  7. The proceedings came to an end with a vote of thanks by joint secretary Kausikram Krishnasayee.
