I am a chemist by training, now retired, and able to spend more time on learning programming and computers. Freed from the corporate world, I am a recent convert to Linux. I have set out to learn Python and greatly improve my knowledge of C and assembly language.

Favorite subjects: Recreational math, Cellular automata, Graphics (e.g. the Mandelbrot set)
