Most people seem to feel we are trying to reach 1st and 2nd level managers, those that are responsible for making technology choices. We want to make it easier for programmers in the trenches to convince their bosses to let them use Python.
So how to reach them?
Here is a list of useful resources on pythonology.org.
Missing from the above are the following:
- A list of tech community sites we can target (slashdot.net, advogato, and many potential others)
- A list of editors of update newsletters like Gentoo Weekly News, Red Hat Announce List, etc.
- A list of contacts for getting Python onto CDs for Mac World, Windows Magazine, and so forth.
- O'Reilly may be able to participate in some ways (already contacted 4/23/2003)
